Posted by Anonymous on 2014/07/04 under Uncategorized So college application time is coming up and well a lot if the prompts look the same for personal statements, the problem is I cant seem to answer them. They all want to know what makes us, us. What makes us unique and what has shaped us into who we are now. And I honestly have no freaking clue! I know I’m 17 but holy crap I haven’t lived yet! I don’t have some amazing story about why I am me, I just am… I guess. I don’t think I’m different from the millions of other teenagers who sit in there rooms listening to music scrolling through various websites looking up stuff. But that’s just it that’s all I’ve done! I feel like the past 17 years have been a waste. Good God its s good thing this is just a school assignment and Im not actually applying to a UC or I’d really be f***ed right now.
Everyone has something unique about them, maybe even an insignificant hobby which you might find useless right now. think about it.
And also, if you still think you’re 17 and haven’t experienced anything worth writing on an application, maybe you should start now! 😉
